Andre Sheremetiev
Marriage & Family Therapist Intern, Group Therapist

Andre joined Engage in 2016, as a Group Therapist, working with our adolescents and young adults to aid them in overcoming their life challenges. Most recently, he worked as a Therapist Trainee at the David H. Fox Counseling Center, at Phillips Graduate University. Andre completed his Masters of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Phillips Graduate University. In his work, Andre has been helping individuals identify sources of strength in their current lives, as well as their hopes and dreams for the future. Married, and a proud father of three children, he understands the unique challenges inherent in raising a healthy family. Andre is an avid believer in the profound transformative power of psychotherapy, as a means of re-constructing one’s life and helping an individual to get in touch with her/his authentic sense of self, and he hopes to share in the experience of guiding others toward achieving their life goals, by breaking through the social and emotional roadblocks that stand in their way. As we can mend the body with physical therapy, so too can we heal the mind with psychotherapy, as a wide body of research continues to demonstrate. Andre‚Äôs clients can expect to experience a genuine human encounter, guided by unconditional support and empathy, in a quest to discover tools and answers which match the unique needs of the individual. Andre is truly honored to be a part of the Engage family.
