Carrie Hastings
Psy.D, Testing Coordinator, Licensed Clinical and Sport Psychologist

Carrie is a licensed clinical psychologist and is the Psychological Testing Coordinator for Engage. Dr. Hastings is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she was a hurdler on the track team. She obtained her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University, where she has worked as part of the adjunct faculty and as a therapist in the student counseling center. In addition to providing individual therapy for all ages, Dr. Hastings specializes in psychological testing and sports psychology. Dr. Hastings conducts workshops for coaches and parents as part of the Play Like a Champion Today program, a national outreach initiative promoting the moral atmosphere of sports. She is the research coordinator for the organization and has developed resources to raise awareness of mental health issues among athletes and to help coaches work more effectively with athletes who have special needs (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities). Dr. Hastings also presents nationally on the topic of bullying and is the staff psychologist for Kind Campaign, a nonprofit anti-bullying organization. Dr. Hastings enjoys reading, running, watching football, dancing, playing with her children, and drinking coffee so that she can engage in the aforementioned activities.
