Kimberly rejoined the Engage team in January 2019 after a 2 year hiatus to complete her Master of Social Work at the University of Southern California. She relocated to Ventura County after completing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Penn State University in 2012. Kimberly has experience in a range of settings including outpatient programming, residential treatment, and a psychiatric hospital for those enduring serious mental illness. Kimberly is skilled in working with a diverse range of clients including adolescents, young adults, adults, and families using a strengths-based perspective. She operates from a dynamic, multi-modal approach, utilizing elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care, among other evidence-based practices. Kimberly is passionate about working with those experiencing symptoms of depression/mood disorders, anxiety, difficulties related to significant life transitions, as well as other mental health concerns. In her free time, Kimberly enjoys an active lifestyle that includes frequent outdoor excursions/hikes and traveling to new destinations.
