Marcus joined Engage in 2014. He is currently a Lead Group Therapist for our adolescent treatment programs and works with individuals through his private practice. He grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Arts from Penn State University in 2003. During the decade between undergraduate and graduate school, he was fortunate to have worked in various other career fields in cities across the country. The collective life experience gained from that time serves as a significant source of understanding in his work. Marcus received his MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara and is experienced with CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused approaches. Marcus is passionate about his work with adolescents and young adults; specifically, in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and various life transitions. When he’s not working, Marcus enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his wife, daughter, and black Labrador Retriever. They love camping, fishing, traveling, and embracing new adventures together.
