Matthew Evans

Matthew is a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern and a Group Therapist in the Engage Me treatment program. Matthew earned his Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology for Pepperdine University in 2016 and holds a Bachelors Degree from San Diego State University. Prior to working at Engage, he worked at a community based agency providing individual therapy to adolescents and adults, as well as a residential treatment program for adolescents struggling with eating disorders. Matthew has experience working with a wide range of clinical issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family dynamics and conflict, eating disorders, substance abuse, and trauma. He has additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and aims to specialize in providing therapy to adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety disorders. In his free time, Matthew enjoys playing golf and traveling.
