Peter is an MFT Intern who has worked in individual and group therapy settings, specializing in adolescents, young adults, and family work. Peter also serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling at CSU Northridge, and as a Counseling Specialist at CSUN’s Michael D. Eisner College of Education, specializing on factors impacting university students’ academic motivation, sense of belonging, self-efficacy, resilience, and academic help-seeking behaviors. Peter enjoys identifying and utilizing individuals’ strengths to assist with the creation and maintaining self- growth, efficacy, motivation, and appreciation. Peter would like to continue working with adolescents and adults to address difficulties with family issues, transitions, depression, anxiety, and/or other mental health concerns. Peter received his M.S. in Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from CSUN. Prior to joining Engage, Peter worked as an In-Home Outreach Counselor at Strength United (Northridge, CA) and as a psychotherapist at Counseling West (Sherman Oaks, CA). During his free time, Peter enjoys spending time with his loved ones, traveling, listening/playing music, and playing with his two dogs.
