Sam is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families. He earned his Masters Degree from Phillips Graduate University with a concentration in Post Modern Therapy and holds a Bachelors degree from University of California, Santa Cruz. Sam has spent the past three years in Washington, DC training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and providing community-based individual and group therapy in various settings. He has experience working with a wide range of clinical issues such as family conflict, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, coming out, and crisis management. Sam is passionate about working with young people, families, and the LGBTQ community. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, spending time with his fiance, and playing tabletop games.
