Sam is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families. Sam earned his Masters Degree in Psychology from Phillips Graduate University with a concentration in Postmodern Therapy and holds a Bachelors degree from University of California Santa Cruz. Sam spent three years in Washington, DC training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and providing community-based individual and group therapies in various settings. He joined Engage in June 2018. He has experience working with a wide range of clinical issues such as family conflict, depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, self-esteem, coming out, and crisis management. Sam is passionate about working with young people, families, and the LGBTQ community. In his spare time, Sam enjoys hiking, being outdoors, and playing tabletop games.
