Jesse has an extensive history working with teens, young adults, and their families. His graduate studies took him to the beautiful campus of Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, CA where he found a love for depth psychology and the teachings of Jung, Campbell, Hillman, Von Franz, Woodman and many others. This experience of delving into and working with the unconscious greatly informs the way he conceptualizes his cases and the clinician he is today. Jesse also holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Spanish Literature from Georgia State University. He lived abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico during his undergraduate studies and is fluent in Spanish.
Over the course of the past decade, Jesse has helped run some of the most well regarded adolescent dual-diagnosis programs in the Los Angeles area. Jesse’s areas of clinical focus are trauma, anxiety/depression, addiction, co-dependency, family systems, and the process of individuation. Jesse is currently completing the 3-year Somatic Experiencing certification training created by Peter Levine. In his free time, Jesse is an avid outdoors-man and often spends his free time in the Eastern Sierras, offshore fishing, or up the coast at a remote surf break.
