Devin Cooper, AMFT
Case Coordinator

Devin obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands, and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University. During her Master’s program, Devin specialized in trauma and began working with teenagers who struggled with depression and anxiety in a school setting. In addition, Devin worked with children, teenagers, and adults in a private practice setting where she facilitated individual therapy sessions. It was during this time that Devin furthered her therapeutic skills and nurtured her desire to help others. In working with her clients, Devin primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Theory.

Devin’s passion for helping others started from a young age, and she chooses to work with teens and young adults because she wants to give individuals space to process the various difficulties they can face at such an important time in their lives. Devin strives to help teens and young adults find their voice, increase self-esteem, find and implement healthy coping skills, and manage depression and anxiety symptoms empathetically. In her free time, Devin enjoys spending time with family and friends, drawing and painting, and playing with her Pitbull/Boxer mix puppy Brooklyn.
