Megan Stevens is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and serves as the Director of Clinical Care Coordinator and Training at Engage. She started her career as a peer counselor within her highschool and later found her desire for furthering her education within the field of mental health. Megan graduated with her Bachelors in Family Studies from California State University and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Megan has extensive history working with children, adolescents and young adults with an emphasis in substance abuse, cognitive disorders, co-occurring mental health and eating disorders. During her educational years, she volunteered in various in-need communities, offering free therapy. Megan previously developed a social skills and mental health program for the Las Virgenes school district, in an attempt to offer supportive services within the school environment to our younger generation. Megan chose to shift her role as a clinical supervisor as she has always had a desire to further educate clinicians in order to better serve the public and offer a community within the mental health field. Along with her role at Engage, Megan additionally offers family and individual therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking outdoors with her dog, and practicing yoga and pilates.
