Dr. Rob Feeley is the Medical Director for Engage. He is a board-certified General Adult and Addiction Psychiatrist. Dr. Feeley grew up in Westchester county, New York, before receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College in Massachusetts. He subsequently earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed both his Psychiatry Residency and Addiction Fellowship at Yale. While at Yale, Dr. Feeley served as Chief Resident for the Psychiatric Emergency Room and was also Chief Resident for Quality Improvement. Dr. Feeley currently sees patients through an organization called Community Psychiatry, with locations in Calabasas and Thousand Oaks, and specializes in the treatment of depression, bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and a range of addictive disorders. Prior to working for Community Psychiatry, he worked as an attending for Calabasas Behavioral Health. Dr. Feeley chose to specialize in Psychiatry because he enjoys the art of it as much as he enjoys the science. He has authored 10 peer reviewed publications, of which he is the first author on five. An additional interest of his is the intersection of psychiatry and spirituality. He is a meditation instructor and has found that meditation is an invaluable asset in maintaining presence and careful listening. He is friendly, compassionate, humorous, and diligent — and these qualities help him to accomplish mutually shared goals with his clients as quickly as possible. He enjoys spending time with his family, exploring California, boogie boarding, and philosophizing.
